Unless you have been avoiding fashion magazines and fashion show reports these past few months like an office cold, than you probably already know that ORANGE is back again for the summer season. Does this shade only give you sour memories of Aunt Gertrude's date night pucker? It is time to see this Popsicle hue in a new light- think of it as an extension of the sun to your pout and most importantly, the lipstick does not make the lady, the lady works that lipstick!
If you slowly want to ease your way onto this side of the spectrum- here are my suggestions from sheer, glossy, to pop. Coral tones tend to be safer while red-oranges are for those who want to really stop traffic. Always prep with a lip balm first to avoid an "orange peel" look that should be avoided:
