From Steep Streets to The Weaver House

Something magical always occurred when photographer and designer, Kelty of Steep Street touched it. If we couldn't already handle any more awesome, now her equally smashing sister, Hannah, has joined the ranks and the duo has now emerged as..."The Weaver House".

The Weaver House is a one-stop shop for photography services, vintage goods, handmade knick-knacks, and well, you can simply learn more by watching the promo video below. I had the pleasure to be a part of their kick-off project, along with Alex behind the video camera (who supplied us with the yuks during the shoot) and our charming model couple, Shola + Vikesh.

Secret Sessions

Here is to another boudoir shoot with Missy Bachmeier of Portland+Vancouver's Take 5 Photography. Several times a year, Missy schedules marathon boudoir days or private sessions for women who are either wanting to surprise their other halves with something special or just as a treat for themselves. Here is the shoot I did with the very fun-spirited Emmy; those captivating eyes, oh my!

I always get a kick out of asking the ladies of boudoir sessions, how they slyly get away from their significant others for a few hours to do the shoot. Sometimes it seems as though your partner doesn't take notice that you have gone from brunette hair one day to auburn the next but they can instinctively tell you have something up your sleeve- and start instigating into your master plan. Reminds me of how much I love surprises.

City Slicker

As I'm putting together this post, the only thing going through my head is the theme song to "Two & A Half Men". Here is another collabo with Joey from ICE Digital Studios, shooting a man I know very well in an office building downtown that I wouldn't mind living in. The best part of the shoot is when the other outfit got locked into the office kitchen by accident and Ole attempted to utilize his MacGyver moves- without much success.

She Glows

A beautiful candid shot taken after a day of shooting around beautiful Portland and taking a break to fill our eager stomachs with heaps of sushi. It was great to work with the "A" Team- which consists of Austin-based photographer, Jaime Ibarra, and model Jessa, to see how they make eye-catching shots like this seems so effortless.
