"A Novel Romance" Wedding Show....Preview

I was planning on a semi-uneventful Sunday morning before sending off my other half to the airport in a few hours. Until I got a text at 9:30 am from the wonderful production/model Jillian Rabe that they needed help asap! So my day actually was destined (very "novel romance" wouldn't you agree?) to participate as a makeup artist for a beautiful wedding show held at the Cleaners-Ace Hotel in downtown Portland. I knew little about the event (but I like surprises) so I showed up with my makeup kit and found another great artist, Madeline Roosevelt, working at the event as well and hairstylists doing their thing. There were eight models and/or brides displaying the gorgeous wedding attire from all local designers sold at The English Department. I unfortunately couldn't stay for the event but the space was amazing!
